Entry Pathway Programs
🏫 Foundation Programs (Year 12 equiv.)
For students who haven't completed Year 12 equivalent. 1 year duration. Offered by most Go8 and mid-tier universities. IELTS 5.5 typically sufficient to enter.
📚 Diploma Programs
Equivalent to first year of a Bachelor's degree. Successful completion guarantees entry into second year of the bachelor program at partner universities.
🌏 ELICOS (English Pathway)
University's own English Language Intensive Courses. Successful completion can meet English entry requirements without a standardised test (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL).
🎓 Graduate Certificate
For postgraduate entry where GPA doesn't meet the Master's threshold. 6-month program with credit transfer into the master's degree upon passing.

What IELTS score do I need for Australian universities?▼

What GPA do I need for an Australian university?▼
For postgraduate coursework programs, most Australian universities require a minimum GPA equivalent to an Australian 5.0/7.0 (Credit level). Top Go8 programs may require 6.0/7.0 (Distinction). Conversion from your home country's grading system is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the university's admissions office.
Can I enter an Australian university without meeting English requirements?▼
